GoodLuck was set up in 1979 and is one of the oldest friendship and marriage bureau in Singapore. During our beginning years, we took in all kinds of members from different walks of life to build up our pool of members. This is usually the initial stage for a new agency. But during 1994, after 15 years of establishment, we realised that we had neglected something important. It's not the amount of members that we have, but the quality in our members. Mr Horatio Lee, our founder did some research on how to get a good amount of members that have the quality in them. For example, how to attract pleasant looking ladies and successful gentlemen into our pool. How can we create the best image for the match-making business in Singapore and so on. Mr Lee believes that the amount of members should be a secondary matter, but the quality in our members can help us in bringing together more prefect matches for our members. We started to screen our members and place requirements that they need to meet before they are taken in as members. Now with more than 15,000 quality members, GoodLuck believes that we had met our objective. It's frequent for us to hear members calling us and say: "Hi ! Mr Lee, the lady you introduced me..... She's so beautiful and cheerful. I really enjoy going out with her." "Hello Mr Lee, the guy is so successful and gentlemanly. Thank you for introducing me such a nice guy."
